President: David Waltner-Toews, Professor, Department of Population Medicine, University of Guelph; Veterinary epidemiology, agroecosystem health, public health and zoonotic diseases.
Vice-President: Margot W. Parkes, Global Health Research Program, University of British Columbia and Managing Editor, EcoHealth. Interests span public health, human ecology, ecosystem-based, community-oriented participatory action research, multi-stakeholder processes for health and sustainability. PhD examined links between watershed management, freshwater ecosystems, and public health in New Zealand's Taieri River catchment.
Secretary-Treasurer: Martin Bunch, Associate Professor, Faculty of Environmental Studies, York University: Ecosystem approaches, adaptive management, environmental planning, international development, geographic information systems, public participation.
Dr. Cynthia Neudoerffer. Postdoctoral Fellow, Natural Resources Institute, University of Manitoba: PhD on community adaptation to extreme weather events in the Canadian prairies using AMESH and resilience frameworks.
Dr. Henry David Venema, Director, Sustainable Natural Resources Management, International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Karen Morrison, Assistant Professor, Environment and Resources Studies Program, Trent University: Ecosystem approaches to human health, including social-ecological systems, community development and social learning.
Lars Hallström, Canada Research Chair in Public Policy and Governance, St. Francis Xavier University: Democratic and policy effects of the intersection of scientific knowledge and technical expertise, public participation in policy and politics, and shifts toward new models of governance concerned with environmental politics.
