Livelihoods and Ecosystems

Dealing with Complexity in
Rural Development and Agriculture

Resource Kit - Reports - Conference

The Livelihoods and Ecosystems project was an initiative of the University of Guelph (funded by Canadian International Development Agency).

The project, through a series of policy discussions and interactive workshops, analyzed how to deal with complexity in Rural Development and Agriculture using the systems based approaches of Sustainable Livelihoods and Ecosystem Health.

We also developed a resource kit which synthesizes some of our learning and current thinking on these two approaches.

On this site you will be able to access the resource kit which also contains some Canadian and international case studies. You will also find reports on the conference, workshops and policy discussions hosted by the project, as well as the project's technical reports.
